How to do all this without children falling asleep?

I want to encourage children’s love of reading. It is nothing new to tuck ideas and ‘morals’ into children’s stories - look at Aesop’s Fables….

Interesting and engaging stories can introduce aspects of critical thinking which develop strategies for analysing evidence and decision-making.
